You do not need to count everything to eat well. A visual method helps keep protein, fibre and vegetables on the plate without tracking apps.

The plate method

Fill roughly half the plate with vegetables, a quarter with a protein source and a quarter with whole grains or potatoes, plus a little healthy fat.

Make it flexible

The method works for most cuisines. If you have specific health needs, a registered dietitian can adapt it for you.
