Do you need one?
If you mainly browse, write and watch video, an NPU is a nice extra rather than a requirement. It matters more if you plan to use on-device AI features regularly or want them to work offline.
What to compare
Look at memory first, then the software features your operating system actually offers on that chip. A fast NPU with too little RAM will still feel slow.
